1. 14-Day Refund Window
We want StepStrum customers to feel confident when purchasing. This Refund Policy explains how refunds work for purchases of StepStrum Pro and other Notewerks digital products.
If you purchase StepStrum Pro and it does not work as expected or you are not satisfied, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase.
To request a refund, contact us at support@notewerks.com and include your order email address, order ID if available, and a brief description of the issue.
2. Digital Product Delivery
StepStrum is a digital software product. Because digital products can be downloaded and accessed immediately, refund requests are reviewed to prevent fraud and abuse. However, our goal is to be fair and reasonable with legitimate customers.
3. Technical Issues
If you are having trouble installing, activating, or using StepStrum, please contact support. We may ask for basic troubleshooting information such as your operating system, DAW/plugin host, plugin format, installer version, and error messages.
If we cannot reasonably help resolve a serious technical issue, we will generally approve a refund within the refund window.
4. Refunds Outside the Window
Refund requests made more than 14 days after purchase may be denied, but we may consider exceptions at our discretion, especially for serious technical problems or duplicate purchases.
5. Abuse and Ineligible Requests
We may deny refund requests involving suspected fraud, repeated purchases and refunds, chargeback abuse, license sharing, violation of the EULA, or other misuse.
6. Processing Refunds
Purchases are processed by FastSpring, our authorized reseller and merchant of record. Approved refunds are generally processed through FastSpring or the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and banking system.
7. Chargebacks
If you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact us before filing a chargeback. We will try to resolve the issue quickly and fairly.
